Our Approach
We launched the project with a thorough discovery phase, partnering with Alpha Smile’s team to align on their brand vision, target audience, and market goals. Research showed that oral care consumers favored minimalist, clean designs, with white symbolizing hygiene and black text ensuring clarity and professionalism. Alpha Smile’s previous branding lacked the premium edge needed to compete, and their packaging failed to reflect the product’s quality. Our objective was to harness the white main color and black text to create a timeless, cohesive identity that would shine across physical stores, online platforms, and professional interactions.
Logo Design: We developed a sleek logo featuring a subtle smile icon integrated with bold, sans-serif black typography on a white background. The design embodied dental wellness and confidence, with the white main color providing a clean canvas and black text ensuring sharp contrast. The logo was optimized for versatility, maintaining clarity on small business cards and larger packaging. We tested font weights and icon variations to achieve a balance of elegance and boldness, ensuring instant brand recognition.
Premium Product Packaging: The packaging was designed for Alpha Smile’s product range, including teeth whitening kits, toothpaste, and oral rinses. We created a premium system with a glossy white main color and crisp black text, emphasizing cleanliness and sophistication. Subtle embossing and matte textures added a luxurious tactile quality, while transparent product windows highlighted the contents. Eco-friendly, recyclable materials were used to reflect Alpha Smile’s sustainability commitment, with black text for FDA-compliant labeling (ingredients, instructions) arranged in a streamlined layout. Mockups were tested to ensure the white-and-black design stood out on retail shelves and e-commerce listings.
Business Cards: The business cards embodied Alpha Smile’s minimalist luxury, using thick white cardstock as the main color with bold black text for the logo and contact details. A discreet embossed smile icon added a premium touch while adhering to the white-and-black scheme. The double-sided cards were designed for clarity and impact, making them ideal for trade shows, client meetings, and retail partnerships.
Branded Receptacle: The receptacle, a reusable storage case for the whitening kit, was crafted to enhance the customer experience. It featured a glossy white exterior as the main color, with the Alpha Smile logo in bold black text, paired with a matte black interior for contrast. The compact, durable case included a magnetic closure, serving as both a travel accessory and a stylish display piece. Prototypes were tested to ensure functionality and aesthetic cohesion with the white-and-black branding.
